Well we're no experts but here are a few things that we have learned over the past 6 years.
Hopefully some of these tips will help you out.

That just goes to show you good advice doesn't go out of style :)
GETTING STARTED
Is There Really Money to Be Made?
That is definitely the biggest question we get. Is there really money to be made? Do people really make good money?
Do honest webmasters make money? The answer is YES YES YES :)) If you are smart and work your ass off you can make
alot of money in this industry. Anywhere from $5,000 a month to $60,000 a month.
Your OWN domain name
Extremely important if you plan to be in the business for a while- you have no choice on this.
Host Your Sites with a good Hosting Company
Trust us on this one. If it means paying a little more, then do so. Hosting is one of the main factors
which will contribute to the success of your site. The faster your server, the more visitors you can have surfing
your site at one time. The more visitors you can handle at one time without slow downs,
the happier they will be and visit more often.
Frequent visitors = more productive traffic (for you AND your link trades.) Productive traffic proves to click
& buy memberships more often!
Cheaper is NOT better. Often times, money spent on a better host means money back in your pocket in the long run.
Always research
the host you are going to use.
SPONSORS
Carefully Choose Your Sponsors
If it looks too good to be true, it probably is. There are many sponsors that promise the moon and the
stars but deliver jack shit.
It's been our experience that it's best to take a slighty lower payout from a reliable sponsor knowing we
will be getting that check every month rather than taking a chance with some program which promises $70 per
signup and we never see a dime of it.
Have More Than 1 Sponsor
Don't put all your eggs in one basket. No matter how big, solid or honest a company is, they can be gone tomorrow.
Diversify by promoting a few solid companies. Don't be afraid to ask around. Chances are you won't be let down by
all of them.
Most importantly, make sure you can pay your bills and feed your family if any one sponsor can't pay during a month.
Save your money and spend wisely. The adult industry is paying well now, but who knows how long it will last?
Be Creative With Your Advertising
4 years ago, banners were all you needed to make a killing in this industry. Today, they're MUCH less effective.
Do not be afraid to get creative and try new things! We don't suggest being tricky with your surfers to get
signups as this usually means high chargeback rates. We don't care what anyone says- in life you have to work
your ass off to make money. The adult industry is no different. You really need to know your market to get signups.
The potential to make money is at your fingertips. Be smart. Study what your traffic prefers to see and click
on. As long as you have traffic the potential to make some real money is there.
Remember, traffic is your true power!
** NEW ** Tough Times Tips
We can't speak for everyone. However, from what we are hearing times are very tough right now. Signups are tough to
come by. Good Honest Sponsors are tough to come by. Most webmasters are still stuck in the Fast Buck mentality.
We strongly suggest against this. Consider the fast buck long gone. Think long term. Build for the future and
be prepared for tougher times. If possible use recurring partnership programs. They will help stabilize your revenue stream during the
tough times. When your signups are low and the rebills kick in it will offset the bad times and will boost the good times.
LINK TRADES
Always try to send higher to your link trades
Word travels fast in this community. If you are known as a good webmaster that strives to send out more traffic
than you get, you will always have webmasters interested in linking with you. This will help your traffic grow.
Get Good Link Trades
Try and stay away from 100% script trades. Establish good solid link exchanges with a few trusty webmasters and
build on that.
This has worked for us. See, by concentrating on a few link trades you become the #1 or #2 link trade on their sites.
From here, you move on to bigger trades. People will start seeing your site linked high on other sites and
thus figure you send back real well. They will contact you for a trade. Also being listed #1 on a site will get
you the best traffic that site has to send.
More is Not Always More
Many webmasters are out for their egos. You'll pinpoint them right away as the ones who place
their counters up at the top of their pages. They run their site(s)
thinking only about how many hits they get a day and where they are ranked on Sex Tracker. THIS IS BULLSHIT!
Number 1 - it's not about how much traffic you get. There are some sites out there getting 150k uniques a day
that aren't WORTH shit and don't MAKE shit!
Bulk traffic trades are good for making your counter look fat but do little for your long term success.
Concentrate on getting
GOOD traffic trades with HIGH QUALITY sites. There are many scripts available now (they cost about $1000) that
show you how productive a link trade is. If a webmaster sends you 5,000 hits and only 500 of them check out your site you wasted
time and 5000 clicks on a shitty link trade. The idea here? Work smarter not harder ;-)
MAKING GALLERIES
Galleries are Sales Pages
Remember the goal of making a gallery is to get your visitors/surfers to buy memberships to the site you're promoting.
Think of a gallery as a magazine ad. Make it appealing and so damn clickable that the surfer
will click click click his/her way right to the join page. Once again, we can't stress being creative enough.
Don't copy other people's galleries. STUDY the ones you like and from here, develop your own unique style.
It may take some time but you will find your niche to making successful gallery ads in the long run.
Establish a Distribution Channel
When making galleries, the key to success is getting traffic to them. If you make good galleries you can
easily get listed on every major TGP on the Web. Establish a distribution channel. Contact the major TGPs. Study
what they post. See what they like and go from there. If you post one gallery on 100 tgps you have a better chance of
making money than posting one gallery to 10 tgps. It's a numbers game, my friend. :-)
STUDY THE GAME
The key is to watch what other webmasters are doing. Some of these guys are HUGE- understandably, they got to where they are
for a reason.
More often than not, their level of success is based on honesty. Quality oriented sites care about 2 things; their surfers
and their link trades.
Study what these webmasters are doing. Spend time going through their sites each week- note changes and ask yourself
questions. Why is their site set up this way? Where do they place their first link trade? Why do/don't they offer
free pics? How has the site changed from last week? What sponsors are they promoting?
Learning to UNDERSTAND why a site is set up in a certain way is pure Marketing. Become an expert marketer.
